EL GATO NEGRO, Nocturnal Warrior

I'am who you might call, the Founder of the Feast.

About Me

Hola, This MySpace is designed to provide info and the latest update for my fans of EL GATO NEGRO, NOCTURNAL WARRIOR, published by Azteca Productions based in Dallas, Texas. The story emphasize on me, a young Latino male, Francisco Guerrero, a social worker by day...crimefighter by night. I got my moniker from my grandfather, Agustine 'Gus' Guerrero, who was a Mexican masked luchador-turned-adventurer during the 1950's and early 60's. All this takes place in 'mi barrio', the Lower Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, along the Texas-Mexico border. Of course, El Gato Negro will have his own array of colorful and unique 'super-villains'(and I will display them real soon!) that will make both Batman and Dick Tracy green with envy. The Nocturnal Warrior has been around since 1993, and I'm not planning on leaving. So, if you are a true 'Gato-Fan', then this MySpace page is for you! You can also check out my creator's company, Azteca Productions on Comicspace.com (http://www.comicspace.com/aztecaproductions)EL GATO NEGRO has appeared in: adherents.com, answers.com, Baldocomics.com, Corpus Christi Caller-Times, Correro del Caroni.com, Dallas Morning News, Detroit Free Press, Hispanic Business Magazine, Hispanic Magazine, internationalhero.co.uk, La Fuente, Latin Heat Online, Latina Magazine, Our Sunday Reader, PopThought.com, San Antonio Express-News, The Monitor, The Paper of South Texas, The Valley Sun and Wikipedia. El Gato Negro and Ray Ramos' El Valiente gearing up for the 'War of the Independents'. This awesome pin-up was done by Rudy Vasquez (check out Rudy's art at: http://rudyvasquez.deviantart.com/)NOTE: I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH...I'M ANTI-MYSPACE SPAM. I DON'T POST USELESS SURVEYS OR CHAIN LETTERS!!!!! IF YOUR PROFILE IS SET ON 'PRIVATE'(why have one at all?), OR IF YOU'RE UNDER AGE--I WILL NOT ADD YOU... ...AND I DON'T ADD BANDS THAT ARE JUST TROLLING FOR FRIENDS AT RANDOM. SORRY.

My Interests

What God gave me when he brought me into this world, the "ganas" to make a difference in my community, to bring "bad luck" to those who do evil in my neighborhood. Helping those who cannot fend for themselves, to bring a positive attitude to the youth in this generation. My never-ending battle with crime in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Spending a lot of time with my grandfather, Agustine 'Gus' Guerrero, the original El Gato Negro, giving me advice about life, about being El Gato Negro, about Lucha Libre over some hot chocolate and pan de dolce. And finally, on a slow day (like that will really happen...!), spend some time with Lady Lawyer, Narcilina 'Narci' Montoya. This piece was done by a young Freddie Williams (Robin DC Comics). EL Gato Negro facing The Dogs of War and Relampago!

I'd like to meet:

First and foremost, Robert Rodriguez, for he and I have a lot to talk about. Then, it would be Zack Synder, for he too, is an awesome director. Next, it would be the Latina version of 'Charlie's Angels': Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria and Penelope Cruz (at the same time!). The entire cast of SpyKids, because my creator's children would like to meet them, El Rey Mysterio of the WWE, because he could play the part of my grandfather back in his day as a luchador/crimefighter (and everyone else in the Lucha Libre world for that matter!),El Valiente, Bluewing and Aym Geronimo, for I will be teaming up with them real soon in the "War of the Independents" coming in July of 2008,and last but not least, his Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI for he is a great man of faith.THE GREATEST FAN-FILM EVER CREATED, BATMAN: DEAD END A film by Director Sandy Collora and starring Bodybuilder, Clark (Batman) Bartram. Both whom my creator, Richard Dominguez had the pleasure of rubbing elbows with while down in San Antonio, Texas for a weekend comic book convention (find out more about it in the blog above: El Gato Negro meets The Batman). Both Collora and Bartram became instant "Gato-Fans", and Collora told my creator that he would LOVE to do an El Gato Negro "short film".
