it's done. no longer a rock band, giant eagle is once again just a grocery store. for now. and until further notice.
there are many unfinished recordings that will be done sooner or later, including recent sessions recorded at zombieproof studios proper with Don Depew. and i will do my best to release them into the world semi-properly as a complete anthology CDR whenever they are done, along with the 2005 unavailable/untitled "album"
if you would like a t-shirt advertising a dead band (i.e. "classic" band) i am now offering them for free* first come, first served. i have probably 20 or so in various colours of the "classic GE" design, and maybe 5 or so of the rare "king of cleveland" design.

of course there is a possibility of 1 or 2 "farewell" shows sometime in the next coupla months, if any "special occasions" occur in which it would make sense, although nothing at this point is booked. oh, and also look for a show and/or tour when we're all 45 years old and some record shop dork realizes the importance of what we were doing and pays up a bunch of $cratch for some reunion shows for the kids. make sure to hold your breath.
in the meantime, look for "music for parents" an incredible new album by Mikey & Machine Go Boom, and keep your eyes peeled for all of their upcoming shows, featuring Mikey & Kevin of GE.
oh, and seek out a copy of the excellent new "demo" CDR by Kevin's band Sun God, and catch them live sometime soon near you. oh and the Sun God "demo" sleeve has my artwork on it.
also, make sure to book some time at cleveland's "Zombieproof Studios" where you will find Paul of GE who will record you most impressively and affordably.
oh and Paul and I have plans in the works to start a new band with a coupla notable cleveland musicians mid to late summer, more details on that as those arise. Otherwise I plan on getting back to some "making" of some things, and playing in the Burger Boys if that ever takes off. However, I may be available, if the right offer arises, if you are looking for a crappy-singing frontman who "writes cool lyrics" and "gets drunk at practice and at shows." Again, write for more details.
and most of all, thanks for all the fun, and thanks for your support the past coupla years. don't stop now!
