About Me

DOCTOR TEEETH BIO ---- Ohio Natives, The Doctor Teeeth, began in 2003 when James Burge and Rusty Boyer began writing songs in the spare room of James' house. After collaborating on numerous songs, they realized it was time to find the right drummer and form a band. James played some of their taped jam sessions for David Horton (a friend of his from high school). In record time, David put his drum parts together and encouraged Rusty and James to sing with him as much as possible. One rainy night, while practicing in an empty Kent bar at 3 am, they decided on the name - The Doctor Teeeth.James, David and Rusty create three-part harmonies and revolving lead vocals around powerful, focused, and unsullied power-trio rock music. They have a Beatles-esque approach to vocals - as if the Beatles were actually Deep Purple - and the vocal/bass/organ/guitar combination was actually all vocals. This vocal power is complimented by music that is tightly bound towards the purpose of real, soulful rock defiance, encompassing equally heavy and melodic influences found in bands like Queens of the Stone Age or Black Sabbath. When you hear Doctor Teeeth, you are actually experiencing the expression of 200% pure Rock and Roll, whereas other bands are satisfied with a mere 100%. The Doctor Teeeth venture fearlessly into Muddy Waters' gritty, vintage territory and occasionally usurps the throne of Pink Floyd and Kyuss with intermittent psychedelic fuzz fests. The Teeeth have now been together for about three years (bringing the whole triumvirate thing to mind by conjuring 3s all over the place). The Doctor Teeeth balance roots with future. The members have honed (and must now obey) the sound of the Shasta Beast they have created. They hope to create a legacy of rock and roll to their listeners who (they believe) have been distracted from its spiritual and cultural element. That is, The Doctor Teeeth way.Doctor Teeeth's music is a fully realized rock and roll expression. It is a decompression of the three member's deep reverence for the elements that have made rock what it is. Doctor Teeeth believe that preserving the vintage, real-sound elements of rock is the most important thing - as long as guitars, drums, and microphones exist. Doctor Teeeth's explosive live performances compel audiences throughout Ohio and various other U.S. venues.::: CLICK HERE TO FIND SPIRIT BEAR } a ::: PRESS HERE TO FIND J.J.GAMES } a ::: CLICK HERE TO SEE PICS FROM OUR LIME SPIDER SHOW }
