The band Kaross saw its beginning back in the winter of 2000.
Mike, Fredrik and Isaac. Three guys with guitars and one bass.
Driven by desire to make good rocking music, they started to write some tunes and find more people to join in on the fun.
Firstly, drummer Daniel joined in and later on, Magnus on vox. This first line up became the band Kaross. Recording songs, rehearsing and a gig here and there kept it going for a couple of years. Daniel decided to quit after a while and was replaced by Markus. Later on Isaac would leave his duties as guitar slinger, the band kept on as a four piece outfit.
The guys kept on writing, doing shows, rehearsing and slowly building their reputation as a fierce and tight live act as well as gaining respect with their recorded demo material.
The band entered and won the music contest partillerocken in 2005, this led to the possibility of recording an album and releasing it through newly founded record company Eastground Records.
The album was released in spring 2007 and was well recieved among audience and critics, creating some serious buzz in the underground rock arena.
