Grew up in Maine where most nobody ever heard of Stanley Kubrick (my idol then.) Hated School but loved "brilliant film and music.' Swept the Maine Student Film Festivals in the late seventies, until they made me a judge. Got beat down by NYU and New York (still here, though)....clock cleaned....fought clinical depression most of my life. I might even be misdiagnosed and actually be manic depressive...but I get so much done during 'manic' and I guess people like what I"ve done. I'll start name dropping cuz celebrity is SO POWERFUL..Like religion!!! Bands--"Carey's Problem"--hit "Led Zeppelin" featured in the movie "Freak Talks About Sex"---"Gigi Disco Rock"--two cds of Brutal Beauty. Had run ins with Rick Rubin (80's) Julian Schnabel (90's) Beck (90's) and the miracle of modern science and a brilliant return to filmmaking in the late 90's--till now. Films "The Death of Sex" "The Psychotic Odyssey of Richard Chase"--both mentioned in Jack Sargeant's "Deathtrippinig" and "Odyssey" is distributed by Troma. "Mind Control Made Easy (or How To Become a Cult Leader) is taught to Psych and Sociology college students...I'm still full of weird ideas and hoping to put most of them (the good ones) down on celluliod or videotape.---but...they were right. I am weird...but I think weird is good. Better than BORED!! I'm no weirder than anyone else who grew up with two alcoholic parents...ho ho ho...!!
