HAROLD

About Me

Formed in 2007, Toronto Ontario Canada. Phil Ogison (guitars, cheap smokes) Matt Poulakakis (fretless electric bass, car) Jeff Howard (electrodrums and percussion, coffee and nibbles) Harold is an odd type, been around for absolute eons in one form or another. All the members of Harold have previous convictions oops projects they've been involved with: for example, Phil is also known for the experimental/ambient outfit, The Devil In The Design, also A Pretty Sonic Splatter and Psychosomatic Climax Machine; Matt is also known for Salvagesound, Automatic Fats and NoInO, and Jeff played with Phil back in the '80s with Starblanket, Making Big Pictures and Bones of Ancestors. The template for HAROLD comes via Jah Wobble, Simon Phillips and Steve Hillage, and though in no way does the old codger have pretensions about being any of these luminaries, they have pointed the way HAROLD should go. HAROLD has been hunkered down all the cold Toronto winter at either The Children's Peace Theatre (see pics) or in Jeff's living room (Sharon, you're a gem and so are Jeff's kids for putting up with the cantankerous old git). The projected debut is for the end of June, beginning of July, in Toronto. Expect an invite via MySpace closer to the time. That is, unless HAROLD has a senior moment and forgets. I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

HAROLD has found one of his slippers!

Indeed it is true, HAROLD has found one of his slippers, it's an old green tartan one, with ground in cat funk on the toe (no news on the cat) but at least he can sit in front of the fire now, and rea...
