NOiNO is an improvising trio made up of Jamie Todd (dreamSTATE, URM, SADU) on laptop based synthesizers manipulated in real time with gaming and midi controllers, James Bailey (Odradek, Six Heads, etc. etc.) on synthesizers, toys & various found devices, and Matthew Poulakakis (Salvagesound, Automatic Fats,
etc.) on percussion, sample manipulation, occasional keyboards & other instruments. NOiNO was originally formed as an ad hoc replacement for a last minute cancellation of a Planet of the Loops show at Toronto's AMBiENT PiNG series. The trio had so much fun improvising and getting loopy, they decided to continue playing together, and did.
