I started playing guitar at the age of 8, near a little town in Missouri called Mansfield. When I turned 16, I made my first appearance on radio in California on a show called the Squeekin Deacon Talent Hour. From California I ended up in South Dakota where I started a band playing everything from Polkas, Waltzes and the latest country hits of the day.In later years, I opened a restaurant in Wichita, Kansas. I would often surprise my patrons by walking out of the kitchen with my guitar in hand, and singing the latest song that I had written. It was in that restaurant too, where I went on a song writing spree…over 50 songs in less than a year. One of my favorites is called Forever…a love song for my wife.
