Myspace Backgrounds I am a proclaimed conservative, a Patriot, and Veteran.I earned the privilege of being an American, not just by birth.I question,as my right, the patriotism of socialist and liberals who would undermine our constitution and security.Born in North Carolina (see "poor white trash"in Websters unabridged), raised in NC,Va, Ill,, Worked the tobbaco,corn,potato and soy bean fields for pennies a day, trapped, hunted,fished as a youth, worked my butt off in the log woods as an axeman, moving frequently state to state between farming and logging seasons, averaging 3-4 schools yr,(Lucky to keep a C avg) till I quit school in the 11th grade, & joined the Air Force with my brother Ray in 1960. Served for 20 ys,he only 4.Earned a HS GED in NM, and an AS in Pol Sci at BCCC,Many semesters at Wichita State. Saw service in Vietnam theater, 40 US States, 14 Countries (Most while a US Special Deputy Marshal,against aircraft hijackers 70-71) While stationed in Kansas after Okinawa,I met,instantly fell in love with,persued,and married my love Micki, A war widow w/4 children,who bore another son, and completed my being. My joys are our children & their families. Surely, our blessings abound. Our children and grandchildren are wonders to behold,in their struggles, accomplishments,and dreams. only traitors invade my serenity. I enjoy music, I'm a Guitar, Mandolin, Dulcimer, Harmonica, Didjeridoo ist wanna-be.We go to our annual pilgramige at Winfield National Flatpick Guitar Championship Fest.(Browse Walnut Valley Festival)2 wks of pickin & singing,lotta grinin, with some of the best & finest musicians in the country. I learned to weave Maille Armor before retiring from the Post office, and currently share a booth with my artistic son Chuck II, at local and near-by Renaissance Faires as "Sawyer's Arms". I have more hobbies than I can keep up with, I have skills, but no talents to speak of, though have mastered the art of packing it into a ball, having graduated from the school of hard knocks, with a B.S.,M.S.and a PHD (Bull S***, More S***,Piled Higher and Deeper)For now it keeps me out of trouble and the creative juices flowing. If I was blessed any more, I'd be talking in person with God himself.If this is not enough, I have more than you can believe.
