Born the son of a preacher into a family with strong musical ties, KD starting singing at an early age and was introduced to the church at birth. As with so many that are raised in church, the temptations of the world began to beckon to KD and his desire to taste the forbidden fruit led him away from the church, where his rap career actually began.
After years of spinning his wheels outside of Gods will working on various secular music endeavors, KD rededicated his life to CHRIST in November 2001, and has not stopped progressing since. Now KD uses the years of experience along with the things hes still learning to minister through song a message that is sincere, heart felt and all JESUS.
As a member of the independent Christian rap group NOJUDAS, KD was introduced to various facets of the Holy Hip Hop community with songs like Burnt Up and Road 2 Damascus. Now with his steps ordered by God into a solo ministry offering, King David tha Vessel will be making waves in a genre thats already on the verge of overflow.
