About Me

Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own!Born October 16, 1979, to a single mom in Robbins, Illinois, Anthony Ricardo Fields seemed to have many "natural" talents. Anthony grew up in the church and played the organ , drums, and piano every Sunday. At the age of nine it was prophesied that he would be called to ministry as a preacher and that if he would submit himself to the Lord's will, God would allow him to do great things with his gifts and talents. He was also a very gifted athlete, excelling in football, martial arts, and baseball. As time went on, Anthony faced difficult struggles and began to rebel. He started hanging out with the wrong crowd, getting into trouble at home and school. As a result, he was kicked out of traditional schools and sent to a school for wayward boys ( aka Bad Boy School). In high school, he continued the same behaviors, fighting everyday, smoking, drinking, and gang banging. Because of this behavior Anthony was kicked out of high school and later received his G.E.D. He also had a child at the age of 15.After high school, he continued the same pattern. In September of 2000 he decided to get married and a daughter was born out of that marriage. Because he was always gifted in music, he started making beats and rapping with the D. O. T. Crew (Den Of Thieves) which was a big underground hip hop group in Chicago. While at work, Anthony met someone that suggested that he go to Junior College to play football. It seemed to be an opportunity to get away from the lifestyle that he was living, so he decided to put music on hold so that led him to Arizona Western J.C. He excelled in the classroom on the field which led him to a full scholarship at Texas A & M University in Commerce Texas. While in Texas, he started partying more, drinking more and living reckless. In the middle of his sophmore year in college, Anthony got really sick and went to the doctor and the doctor could not tell him what was wrong and he could not prescribe anything for him to take. He was put on bed rest. The pain that he had grew intensely and one night he started to pray and ask God to heal him. It was if he had heard God himself to repent and seek His face and that He would heal him and turn his situation around. He immediately fell out of his bed on his knees and gave his life to Christ in his apartment room alone. Immediately he could feel his body healing and his strength coming back. So he wrote a letter to his mother telling her that he had given his life to Christ. While on campus, God began to link him up with different people in the minstry there and he began to grow in Christ quickly. He was on fire for God. Three months later, while home for summer vacation, he preached his first message at his home church, Peace and Goodwill C.O.G.I.C. Anthony continued trying to stay on the right path while facing many obstacles. One was the end of his 5 year marriage, and his football career ending with a back injury at a pro football tryout. But he continued to push forward. Now four years later he is a youth minister, founder of Uplift Movement, Inc. creating music to reach the lives of individuals who can relate to the message of an against all odds testimony.Anthony R. Fields aka ANTDIGGY is now working on his first christian rap album entitled "A Part of HIStory".!!!!!!!!!!Welcome to Uplift Movement!!!!!!!!!!!!!
