Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, Zeke was introduced to this world as Isaiah Gabriel Russell on September 26th, 1980. From a fairly young age, he became fascinated with the universal language we call music. Apart from being a superstar athlete in high school, he began producing for local acts at the age of 16, well before his gifts as an MC were discovered.Hoping to play in the NBA someday, that particular dream was interrupted by his passion for God and music. Over the course of his career, he has shared the stage with EMI recording artist KiKi Sheard, Canton Jones, and American Idol Finalist Jennifer Hudson, who is featured in the movie DreamGirls starring Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy. Zeke is also making his film debut with the international release of Holy Hip Hop: The Movie, produced by Play from the group Kid and Play (House Party 1,2,3). From the moment you hear Zeke you will become entranced with his brilliant lyricism, undeniable voice, and fiery approach, shocking audiences and proving you can display a high level of skill and spontaneity without demeaning yourself or others.
