General Studios is a full service recording studio located just 25 minutes from midtown Manhattan in historic Douglaston, Queens. Operated by owner Rick Haas, as well as Chief Engineer ‘General’ George Fullan, this prime studio space has housed several recording studios reaching as far back as the 1970’s.
George began his recording career in the early 90’s at Pie Studios in Glen Cove, New York and remained Chief Engineer there for many years. He has worked with countless major artists including The Rolling Stones, Cyndi Lauper, Taking Back Sunday, Twisted Sister, Dream Theater, and Cheap Trick, along with many independent artists like Action Action, Anterrabae, The Color Fred, and Kill Your Idols.
Now, General Studios is a state of the art facility featuring Pro-tools HD3, a spacious live room, two lounge areas, all combined to make a comfortable and creative atmosphere. General Studios is dedicated to making quality recordings at affordable rates.
