The Current hail from Long Island, NY the earliest beginnings started in August 2006.Many lineup changes,band name changes and crazy life curveballs later cut to 2008,finally a solidified lineup and a name!
The Current meld together a mixture of sounds. Everyone in the band are fans of many different genres and styles. We are like minded musicians with busy lives outside of music and are out to play shows, go to shows, and in general just to have fun.
