Dennis Thompson

Born in upstate New York. Have always enjoyed drawing or painting throughout my life. In my youth I was recognized several times in newspaper's or periodical magzines in the local area for my artwork. I joined the military where I served for 20 years. During this time my efforts were on my military career rather than my passion for art. My experiences in the military are profound and would not trade them for the world. I am presently retired from the military and have renewed my passion for art. I have taken several art classes, however, I am self taught for the most part. Presently I consider my self a novice and practice, practice, practice. This is difficult since I have a full time career outside of art to support a living. So what you see in the "pics" section is my afforded time to create.
