As I mentioned, I love to read, listen to music and audiobooks, have fun, be around my friends (what few I have), talking to animals, figuring out what makes people tick, helping others to shift their perceptions.
That's a tough one...I've actually met ALL the people I look up to and those who have changed my life (those that are still alive, at least)ie, Marianne Williamson, Caroline Myss, Gary Zukav, just to name a few. I feel very blessed in this regard. Other than my heroes, I like to meet and make friends with anyone who isn't out to use or hurt me. I like to meet people who through our meeting and subsequent friendship, bring more light and love into this world. Or should I say, bring more of an awareness of these things into the world and lives of those sharing this planet with us. It's all here already, we just need to open our eyes to see it! You see what you choose to see."I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life..." Deut. 30:19The choice is yours...
Pretty much anything, esp. if it lifts my spirit or makes me think.
The Lady In The Water (newest favorite), Resurrection(w/Ellen Burstyn), My Life, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Dark Crystal, Psycho, Marnie or pretty much anything by Hitchcock, City of Angels, Tokyo Godfathers, Old Boy (a shocking Korean tale!)Pan's Labyrinth **** I love horror movies but am a bit put off by the new breed that seems to have taken over the genre (Saw, High Tension, Wolf Creek, etc...) What happened to leaving things to the imagination, movies that were carried by the acting as well as the story, ie, Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho", or "Marnie". Anyways, there are still some good one's out there, but again, it's a matter of opinion...
Third Rock From the Sun (hilarious and insightful), South Park, Oprah, all those home makeover shows, anything with a positive and uplifting storyline or message.Oh, Medium is my new favorite...getting it through Netflix season by season,{ I can't stand to wait and dread catching up to the current season}
