People who: love themselves, love other people, listen more than they talk, understand that learning doesn't stop when you finish "school", have learned to leave self-pity behind, aren't scared to take risks, tell the truth when it counts, have a purpose in life greater than just making money (money is just an obstacle in the road not an end goal), live passionately, embrace diversity, and of course I'm always up for meeting people who want to fund my outlandish entrepreneurial ventures. =)
I'm old school: Star Wars, especially the originals (I bet I've seen them more times than you!), Indiana Jones, Brave Heart, Coming to America, Boyz in the Hood, and heres my kid side, Neverending Story, Princess Bride, and oh, can't forget the Lord of the Rings. I read the book once when I had some time on my hands (many years ago!) and the movie was a great rendition.
Only show I watch is Grey's Anatomy and once in a blue moon I'll catch Punked before I go to bed.
Clan of the Cavebear and Lord of the Rings series were my favorites. I also like reading books about people and society (ie: The Prince by Machiavelli is in my collection.) Honestly I haven't read any books in the last couple years due to time constraints. I've mostly been reading several articles a week on music and media trends as it pertains to my jobs.
Sadly I can't think of anyone off the top of my head. I really wish I had a mentor or a hero. My parents have probably been the best role models I've had. Never lied to me, always supported me, open line of communication, and unlike most couples, are still married after 30 years.
