magazine. Sean Mac was recently seen on (BETs) Rap City, and
represented
as the hardest working DJ in the midwest. This Chicago native not only
spins at clubs and exclusive parties, he is also a radio personality on
WIIT 88.9 with (MIDWEST GANGSTAZ Radio) and Mixtape Master. Sean Mac
started spinning in his mother's basement at age 13. Inspired by films
like Beatstreet, Stylewars and Juice, Sean Mac was determined to become
the best at his craft. Now, 11 years later, the 24-year-old mixtape
king
is running his area. In 2002 he started spin-in parties, clubs and
college events, but Mac had greater aspirations so he began submitting
his demos to the Chicago's biggest promoters. It paid off, by 2004 he
was kill-in the hottest parties in the city. 2004 also brought many
highlights such as spinning alongside DJ S&S, DJ CLUE, DJ KID CAPRI to
name a few.
Sean Mac has also rocked parties for celebrities including Jay-z, P.
Diddy, Nelly, Lil Scrappy, Jeezy, Young Dro, Allen Iverson, twista,
Vivica a. Fox, Taye Diggs, Megan Good, R Kelly, Camron, Shawn Marion,
Eddy curry, jadakiss and more. Seanmac also Rocked partys for NBA
ALLSTAR WEEKEND 06, IN HOUSTON! Headlining partys for Mary j. Blige &
R.
Kelly. Also MEMORIAL WEEKEND 06, IN MIAMI! Headlining parties for
Twista, Allen Iverson, & Nelly. He also headlined the Puffy (Press
play)
album realease party held in Chicago and tore the building DOWN!!!!!!

Needless to say DJ Sean Mac was creating quite a buzz in his home city
but he saw a void in the mixtape game in the Midwest. With the
exception
of Chicago's DJ G-Spot and Mike Love there was no midwest
representation
for the mixtape genre. So Mac stepped his game up and used his
resources
to get exclusive music to put on mixtapes.There was an immediate
positive response and demand for DJ Sean Mac mixtapes. He not only
works
with different artists in the Chi but has generated such a tight rep
that world renowned artists like Twista, Avant, Tony Yayo, and Juelz
Santana and Young Jeezy have all hosted his mixtapes. His mixtapes are
sold in well known stores like Mom & Pops stores, J-bees,Tony Sports
and
fresh wears (located in Chicago). He also sells his mixtape
masterpieces
on various websites such as mixunit, allmixtapes, mixtapechamp just to
name a few. With over 89 mixtapes to his credit, these CD's are so
highly anticipated that Mac often sells out on the first day of
release.
Sean Mac has sold over 50,000 mixtapes in Chicago alone which puts him
in a prime position to accomplish one of his many goals, to put
Chicago's mixtape circuit on the map beyond Chicago. The next obvious
step for the self-motivated music man was to focus on marketing. He
embarked on a genius approach by making tee-shirts, banners, posters,
flyers and even an SUV wrapped with his logo. He and his 20 man
shadyville street team keep promotion circulating throughout the city.
Next up for Mac is the Don Diva mixtape magazine. A mixtape series
titled MIDWEST GANGSTAZ! as well as a show on satellite radio!! He also
plans to do bigger mixtape collabos and BRAKE MIDWEST ARTIST. He is
currently working on a DVD titled Midwest King. DJ Sean Mac's main
aspiration for this year is winning A Justo Midwest Mixtape Rookie Of
award. With amazing skills as a party DJ, Mixtape master, marketing
genius and visionary, DJ Sean Mac is determined to put CHICAGO along
with the Midwest on the MAP! And is destined to accomplish all of his
goals, dreams and more.
