Stefano Moruzzi was born in Prato(Italy)in 1969 and approached to electric guitar during the last eighties, getting the first teaching from rock and rythm & blues musicians of the past.He always been attracted by the stylistic versatility and started his jazz studies with R.Galardini and T.Lama , while in 1993, he attended the Umbria Jazz seminars held by J.Kelly.
He has collaborated with groups that range from blues to jazz, performing with Andrea Melani,Daniela Soria,Michele Papadia, Piero Frassi, Nick Becattini,Peewee Durante, Cosimo Marchese,Milko Ambrogini,Carmine Bloisi,Francesca Taranto and many others of Tuscany area. Since 1997 he has been the modern guitar teacher at Polis Workshops in Certaldo(FI).
In 2004 he starts the collaboration with blues musician Chris Harper recording the cd "Blues is my life" at Delmark's Riverside Studio in Chicago with the Sharade Band.
He played in 2005 at Pistoia Blues ,Flims Blues Festival 2005(Switzerland), Abruzzo nel Blues 2007 and recently in the most important clubs of Chicago such as B.L.U.E.S, Kingstone Mines, Rosa's Lounge,Arti's, Checkerboard Lounge, Billie's Blue..... On stage with Billy Branch,Eddie C.Campbell,Lurrie Bell, Sugar Blue,Peaches Staten,Chico Banks,Sharon Lewis,Mike Wheeler,Chicago Horns,Michael Coleman,Killer Ray Allison,Charlie Love,Larry Woodley,Vivian Vance Kelly,Jesse James King,Kay C.Reed,Mae Koen,Vanessa Holmes,Boysie White, .... a little bit of funky in B.L.U.E.S
