About Me

DJ, promoter, musician, writer. If you know the New York underground scene, then you probably know Reade Truth. He started his DJ career 1990 as an uncompromising industrial DJ playing in clubs like Limelight, Building and Pyramid. Migrating to techno and joining forces with Frankie Bones, Adam X and Heather Heart, he was an integral part of the Sonic Groove empire. Along the way Reade "Truth" became a regular columnist for the scene, authoring many articles and reviews. His recording career began on the cult label Direct Drive and includes releases on Analog, Instinct & Strictly Rhythm. He now runs the elusive Path Records imprint.
