sapient network is a one-man metal project based out of the Netherlands. After kicking off his musical life by learning to play guitar along to early Metallica, PW spent many a happy hour blasting thru 80s thrash tunes with Shaun, who later became one of the guitarists in Durham DM pioneers Morstice.
Following several years of work, PW rediscovered his love for all things loud and rewarded himself with a trip to Bailey Guitars' build-your-own guitar course. Now armed with a personalised tank of a guitar, he set about bringing together the components of a home studio. The first output was a contribution to the online NMA tribute CD: under the name of Lurch, with a distinctly metal version of My Country.
The songs on rotation here are from the sapient network demo "forever unbound", a collection loosely inspired by The Endless of Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic books. If you like what you hear, then get in touch...
