Geasa was formed in 1994 by current front man Draighean in Dublin,
Ireland. Formed as a black metal outfit the band wrote and
gigged for two years until they recorded the demo "starside" in 1996. The
bands first recorded work was well received by the metal scene at the time
and eventually won them their first record deal in 1998 from Season Of Mist
records in France. The album "Angels Cry" was recorded in October of 1999
in Tico -Tico studios in Finland "Angel's Cry" a dark and aggressive metal recording was also well
received. Geasa's next works "Fates Lost Son" was snapped up by a new Irish label
"Acheron Records" and was pressed as a split cd with the bands newly
remastered demo "starside".Since the release of "fates Lost Son" Geasa
have recorded a full length album (God Slaughter), which was out 2006 on DMP (www.darkmusic-productions.com).
