About Me

Explore and express your desires fully. Experience all of life so that you are satisfied and complete. When we suppress our desires, it poisons us. We become incapable of being true to ourselves and others. The beauty and power in life is to not live unconsciously based on our past, but to open up to a world of limitless possibilities.
“To thine own self be true.” – Shakespeare

ABOUT TIFF RANDOLEccentricity and wild creative slashes are usually a preserve of the anarchic rock star. Not so for soulful rock chanteuse, Tiffany Randol: as a three year-old this already ascendant artist was waging war as a one-kid, anti-social crime wave. Bedroom walls were daubed in paint; Motown 45s were blasted from a Fisher Price record player in the early hours of the morning.
Later, trips to a child shrink proved unrewarding. Prescriptions included “plastic sheets on the walls and ear plugs” as an answer to her parent’s sleepless nights and cleaning bills. Not that it helped. As Randol grew older, there were more noisy experiments as a huge record collection swelled with the likes of Elvis Presley, Kate Bush, Guns N'Roses, Billie Holiday, The Beatles, Billy Idol, Johnny Cash and Prince.
This consumption was not unrewarding, however. Fast forward 20 plus years in New York City, and Randol’s flourishing creativity looms large. Now the singer-songwriter has made a habit of writing songs littered with adventurous pop hooks and drive time lyricism. Subsequently, acclaim has followed fast - Randol first made strides as the vampish front woman with riotous rock five piece, Valeze. Meanwhile, her siren-like vocals bolstered live shows with a raft of legends, including Ronnie Spector, Phillip Glass, John Flansbergh, and Ween.
Today though, she’s making waves on her lonesome. A self-produced, self-recorded album is set for a 2008 release and promises much. Highlight single and one part of a five track EP, Kiss Me Kiss Me, is a breathlessly intimate sketch on unconditional love that's drawn comparisons to June Carter, Kate Bush and the sun-drenched harmonies of Lennon and McCartney. B-sides Stuck In His Way and Half A Second swoon with intimacy and wide-eyed innocence, hinting at a work rate to match her creativity. But that’s just the half of it - there have been awards, too. Recent accomplishments include recognition as a new up and coming writer for '07 from The Songwriters Hall of Fame, the licensing of "Me and You" for the feature film "Fat Girls", and the award of 'Best Film Score' at the Long Island Film Festival for "Meg's Song," an independent feature starring Stella Keitel.
Clearly, Tiffany Randol’s effervescent career is brimming with potential. Keep pace – 2008 could be her major stride towards The Big Time.
