About your host:

This Myspace page is really a page for the show, rather than me personally. But...

I am a Priest of the Church of Satan , and have been a member since 1997. Some of the other Satanism-related work I've done includes the Satanic movie site Hellywood, reviews for The Sinister Screen , being a guest on Satanism Today , conducting Satanic weddings and funerals, and various articles for publications such as Not Like Most, The Devil's Diary, The Ninth Gate and The Trident. Don't worry though, I'm not looking for converts. Just that minority of intelligent listeners who know good comedy when they hear it.

My Interests

When I'm not working on my radio show of mirth, I'm usually busy with one of my other "M" passions: mathematics or music. I hold a B.S. and M.S. in applied mathematics and each week I'm usually working on some proof or another. Yes, I love math. I know that scares more people than the fact that I'm a Satanist, but there you have it. I'm also a musician. The bass guitar has been my main instrument since I was 13, but now I like collecting and playing all sorts of instruments. I mostly play harmonica these days (both diatonic and chromatic) but I also own and play the mandolin, balalaika, wooden flute, khaen flute, gopichand, recorder, tin whistle, melodica, kalimba, and ukulele. I also sing.

For a Myspace "friend" request, you'll need to include the email address for this show, which I mention in every episode. This is to cut down on the the blind friend requests I get from lame heavy metal bands and others who have never even listened to the show before. The way I see it, there's no point in me accumulating 10,000 "friends" if they're not even interested in listening (something you Myspace bands may want to think about -- how many from your list actually show up to your gigs?). Otherwise, you can send me a message first if you know me in real life, or your band plays on an RFS project like "Deep Six Radio", etc.

Now the good news. Myspace "friends" will receive the occasional bulletin of information related to the show and occasional special offers. I promise I will NOT bombard you with mass-forwarded bulletins like those talk-about-yourself questionaires, urban myths, or personality tests! Thank you and enjoy the show.

I don't watch TV. I encourage you to try it yourself for 3 to 6 months. Then when you watch it again, you'll say "Wow! Look how people chase after the most meaningless shit! And to think, I thought I was missing something important all this time!" Of course, I'm not oblivious to the medium. I love watching my DVDs of shows like Doctor Who, All In The Family, Penn & Teller's Bullshit, Mr. Show, and South Park.
