John, Matt, Justin, Brahim and Shaneen, were five childhood friends with a burning desire to use their gifts to serve Christ. So in 1999 they formed the Christian Rap Group “Wisdom from Above.” All growing up in the same drug infested, violent neighborhood of West Philadelphia the decision to form the group came from a yearning to see a change in their personal lives as well as a change in the lives of their peers and surroundings. So they made a pact that from that point forward they were seriously committing themselves to the path that God was laying before them.

Influences: Some of Da Lost and Found influences are Prayz 1, Corin Rushing CEO and Manager of Destiny Mangement, The Holland Family, The Kee Family, Rock CHurch Family Worship Center, SUPERMAN, Prayer Chapel, Pastor Goodson, and Apostle Bryant-Lee Phillips.

Sounds Like: Well honestly Da lost and Found have their own distinctive sound. It is all driven by direction from god. So to be real it sounds like God all over their music.
