About Me

I dance flamenco... I stay up late and I have a terrible time with mornings. I'm learning to garden. I love laying in my hammock and watching the clouds roll by above me (best done with a cocktail). I love to read. Some of my favorite things are butterflies, chocolate, flowers, hummingbirds, macadamia nuts, cheese, sashimi, pomegranates, avocados, and figs. It's not unusual for me to accidentally offend people but my friends understand that I'm socially inept and accept me anyway. I'm a very lucky girl... I'm married to the perfect man (for me). We have two gorgeous German shepherds - one of whom is a puppy with a fondness for destroying technology; remote controls, phones, electrical wires... Yeaaah. Good times.I earn my living doing what I love: dancing flamenco. I count my blessings every day for the brilliant artists I've had the opportunity to work with. I've performed throughout the United States, in Guadalajara and in Madrid. I've danced in the companies of Maria Benitez, Carlota Santana, and Omayra Amaya among others. My choreography has been performed in Shanghai, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Santa Fe, also among others...I teach flamenco at a studio called Moving People in Santa Fe. It's an incredible studio with AMAAAAAZING talent (their students have gone on to julliard, Tisch, Giordano, River North, etc., etc.)... impressive.
