It all started 10 years ago when I was working at a long distance company with my best friend. It was the first time I had heard of anything remotely folk music. I took off my headphones and turned to say to my friend... "I'm going to be a folk singer." Five years later I found myself volunteering at the Kerrville Folk Festival. I was learning how to play the guitar. I had found a home and people to call family. Over the next five years, my life took many turns. I continued volunteering for the Kerrville Folk Festival. Over the last seven months I have thrown myself into my music and playing daily. I have been inspired by a number of great friends, one in particular who has motivated me and challenged me. Without that support I wouldn't be here now. That's it for now, but I'll add more soon.
