Oh....so many.....i'll just start listing......doing, whistling, riding my bike where I need to go (and where it leads me), www.craftster.org, yoga, cheese, watching movies outside (in our backyard with a homemade screen, and data projector), knitting, midwest micro brews, water aerobics, sewing, walking, minimalist art, jazzercise (yes...I love it!), my new lomo Pop 9 camera (very cheap. I only go to use it once!), seeing live music, going to art shows (and eat up all the free food), serigraphy (silk screen printmaking), being friends with old people, listening to npr, ceramics, supporting Key Cinemas (the best little art theatre in town.....and not because I work there), veggie products, mexican oil cloth, the Whitney (NYC), photography, natural cold remedies, St. Theresa's Textile Trove (cinci), cooking vegetarian meals, Noah, skipping, peanuts.
My old friends! The internet makes it possible....wink!
Andrew Bird (and his Bowl of Fire), the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Christmas Compilations (a john waters christmas, happy birthday baby jesus, the peanuts),the Fiery Furnaces, Jas. Mathus Knockdown South ....ahhhh so many more, pretty much anything you throw at me........
Moulin Rouge, Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure, Rivers and Tides, Frida, American Splendor, Edward Scissor Hands, A Dirty Shame, the royal tenenbaums, kung fu hustle, born into brothels, the science of sleep.....
We don't have one! But I know how easy it is to get sucked into the food network.
I read more magazines, especially, ReadyMade. I would say I read mostly......how to books, (like patterns for knitting or making random things for the home) but I do like short stories (Flannery O'Connor).....I have a short attention span.
