We're doing it again this year, folks! The 2008 Indieana Handicraft Exchange will be held on both Friday, October 3 (6 p.m.-9 p.m.) and Saturday, October 4 (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) at the Harrison Center for the Arts , located at 1505 North Delaware Street, just north of downtown Indianapolis. Our fair will be held in conjunction with IDADA's wildly popular First Friday event, guaranteeing quite a hearty crowd. The event will be free to the public, but raffle tickets will be sold for $2 each. Purchasing a raffle ticket will give patrons a chance to win one of many prizes donated by our vendors and local, independent business sponsors. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the art programs at Indianapolis area public schools and the Marion County Children's Guardians Home. If patrons bring an art book or art or craft supply for donation at the door, they will receive an additional raffle ticket.
The 2008 Indieana Handicraft Exchange will have 50+ vendors, live music by Shirtless Biddles , Half Step Sisters , Anthoney Scroggins of Hey Hey Melodica , and Joel Rockey , as well as an appearance by the Naptown Roller Girls .

The Indieana Handicraft Exchange is a craft fair for ladies and gents who produce high-quality handcrafted items (no manufactured, mass-produced or flea market merchandise) and those who like to purchase them.
The inaugural fair took place on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at The Irving Theater in Indianapolis, in conjunction with the 61st Annual Historic Irvington Halloween Festival .
