Taffy

Make me a drink, sing me a song, take me as I come, cos I can't stay long.

About Me

My name is Neal Taflinger AKA Taffy, INtake Weekly's bon vivant and man about town. I produce special guides, dining and nightlife pieces, a semi-regular "Office Space" column and the occasional band interview or dining review for INtake Weekly's print edition, artist interviews and profiles, concert previews, and concert and record reviews for INtakeweekly.com. Long story short, I do whatever needs to be done. I also produce a video series called "Taffy On the Town" for Indystar.com and INtakeweekly.com. Each week you can see me cold kickin' it live at events around Indy. You might recognize me from past work such as Video Bar Crawl and Super Trip, where I hitched a ride with five Colts fans to Ft. Lauderdale for Super Bowl weekend. I'm kind of a big deal. My office smells of rich mahogany. I have many leatherbound books.I have been involved in martial arts for a significant portion of my life and I am an avid fan of Mixed Martial Arts which has led me to take on this year-long project . Check it out.

Heroes:

I respect a lot of people and look up to a few but all my heroes are dead.

The Cost of Going Green?

"Going green" is the new buzzword. If you're unfamiliar with the phrase, it's the updated version of the peppy, pro-Earth slogan "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" - a pithy phrase to slap on a shirt or build a...
