Dream Big And Take Lots of Baby Steps To Reach It!

About Me

Pam Mark Hall Knows. Pam Mark Hall is a singer/songwriter who Knows how to celebrate the human experience. Acknowledged early on for her lyrical depth and creative virtue, she quickly emerged as an artist with an eye for spiritual truth. Hailed as the Top CCM Femaie Artist of the Year by RECORD WORLD MAGAZINE, in 1977. She is a Grammy and Dove nominated artist with 6 solo CCM albums, and songs on two gold albums to her credit.
AFTER a lengthy hiatus from the CCM field, Pam returned to her acoustic roots, transcending the new folk approach to record PALER SHADE. Impressionistic, her earthy tones intertwine the relationships of humanity, and creation. PALER SHADE was produced by veteran blues/rock writer/artist/producer Dave Perkins. Dave’s approach was to capture Pam’s solo performance on guitar or keyboard, and then to weave the rest of the track around it like a tapestry." It was a very demanding and yet satisfying experience to return to my acoustic roots.' Says Pam. 'Dave was a tenacious believer in my ability to deliver instrumentally and vocally, and had the patience to let me keep at it til we were both satisfied.”
Pam’s writing, performing, and production skills cover a broad creative spectrum, ranging from bluesy folk, rock, pop and country.
Over the past 15 years, in addition to songwriting, recording, singing on national jingles and performing at intimate venues such as Nashville’s famous BlueBird Café, Pam has spent extensive time producing cause-related programs that integrate charity, business and music. Most notably, she produced a contest and showcase for the Salvation Army for homeless songwriters that resulted in single song contracts for several writers with major music row publishers.
Pam, currently the publisher of the Nashville Medical News is co-produced with Steinway Pianos of Nashville “Healing Hands at Steinway.” Physicians … who are also exceptional musicians … took center stage at this unique reception and concert benefiting the W. O. Smith Nashville Community Music School. The W. O. Smith School is a nonprofit educational institution created to make quality music instruction available to talented, interested and deserving children from low-income families at a nominal fee of 50 cents per lesson. Pam wrote a song "Joy Runs Deep" for the event that the W.O. Smith Choir performed with her.
