CELIA MUR started her musical life at the age of 12 at the Music Conservatory of Granada, encouraged by her father, Antonio Fernández de Moya, a flamenco composer and guitarist. Since 1995 she studied with soprano Maryan Bryfdair at the Centre of “Lyrical Arts of Granada”. She passed her singing 5th Grade wards test at the Associated Board Music School in London. From 1995 on she studied with several Jazz musicians from Granada, and Andalucia, her home town, with whom she still collaborates often. Celia has worked with Dra. Lopez del Castillo, a throat specialist, with whom she collaborated by helping others shape their professional voice and improve their singing. From 2001 throu g to2005 she has lived in NYC a for short periods of time , to study with diferents jazz musicians like, Sheila Jordan, Barry Harrys, Jay Clayton…Furthermore, Celia is also a teacher in the Valencia music school, L'Espai Musical. And for 2006 -07 in “Taller 3” in Castellón, Superior Arts school in Murcia ( Workshops) She's attended several international seminars in Spain with musicians like Mike P. Mossman, Arturo O'Farrell, Mark Turner, Paolo Fresu, Jeane Lee, Sheila Jordan, Perico Sambeat...She has also sung with numerous Spanish, European and American important jazz artists such as Bob Mintzer, Don Braden, Benny Golson, Dave Samuels, Fabio Miano, and Perico Sambeat, Vince Benedetti.Célia is the leading singer of the “Granada Big Band”, and use to perform with diferents bands in jazz and world and flamenco music world.among others..-She has toured internationallyZurich (switzerland) with Oli Keller sept y dic. .2004Instituto Cervantes de New York Chicago y Miami., julio 2005 “las Flores de mi vida” Tour.20052006, Jazz tarrasa Festival, Pamplona, Salamanca, Sevilla, Valencia..Festivals in Dusseldorf & Frankfurt.2007 Inteernationals Fetivals in Gibraltar , Granada, Córdoba, Getxo, Ibiza, Tarrasa, Málaga, Pamplona, Salamanca, Sevilla, Valencia..Festivals..Celia has three cds with spanish records label. Footprints, (satchmo 2001), Las flores de mi vida (Satchmo 2003), Coloreados (Ámbar 2005).At the moment she prepares a tour and new recording based in originals celia..s father compositions in spanish, with great swiss pianist Chris Wiesendanger as a musical producer in NYC , ZURICH AND SPAIN.------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------Vocalista de jazz de formación clásica, flamenca y moderna guiada por su padre el compositor y guitarrista granadino A. Entre sus últimos proyectos destacan: Ha girado por diferentes espacios escénicos dentro y fuera de España. Universidad de Castellón, taller iniciación al Coro Gospel Nov-Dic 2006 Conciertos didacticos en el Auditrio Manuel de Falla de Granada con la granada Big Band en abril de 2007para el circuito abecedario de la junta de andalucia Conciertos didacticos con Sumayae, para el circuito abecedario de la junta de andalucia, del 4 al 23 de mayo.de 2007 ( 23 funciones en total)Celia mur en el teatro:Ha sido invitada por la compañia teatral, " Bramant Teatre" de Valencia a colaborar en la obra " Construyendo a Verónica" hasta el final de su representacion en 2008". Obra finalista en los preimos MAX de teatro del 2007- www.construyendoaveronica.comEn 2008, grabará su cuato disco en el que contará con la participasion de algunos de los mas interesantes músicos del flamenco y jazz de la escena española, brasileña y Newyorkina. El cd estar producido por el pianista y compositor Suizo Chris Wiesendanger.
