Roberto Puggioni, bass player, composer, arranger, was born in Turin, June 1, 1963. He learned to play the bass with himself. He started playing in the '80's with local rock bands. In 1983 he moved to Wien, where he played with all the musicians of the city. His quartet, "Rally Band", played for many years in the best dancing, nights and clubs of Germany, Switzerland, France and Austria, He played also for The Platters, Roy Black, Jessy King, Bobo, Jurgen Drews, Ibo. In 1990, he is back to Italy and is working as a session-man, playing with Italian and european musicians: Nunzio Barbieri. Max Carletti, Diego Borotti, Giorgio Barbera, Carlo Actis Dato, Furio Chirico, Mike Lazzarini, Roberto Taufic, Laura Ghirardi, Rodrigo Botter Maio, Gino Todesco, Arthur Miles, Alfredo De la Fe, Stefan Berger, Mustafa Krieger, Sara Venturino, Gilson Silveira, Jasmine Meguid, Nubia, Gary Scott, Rev. Lee Brown, Jessy Howe, Janet Dawkins, Jimmy Duncan and many others... He partecipate in various events and in various jazz festivals such as : Philip Morris International Meeting in Switzerland, International Jazz Festival in Sicily, Kalottjazz Festival in Finland, Jazz festival in Limburg, Germany, Montecarlo Jazz&Wine festival, Drumstock festival.... Swiss Television (DRS1) with Nella Martinetti and with Pino Gasparini. He plays for Furio Chirico & Friends ("Father to son").With the modern jazz quintet Duda'(Gianni Branca, Piergiorgio Miotto, Dado Sezzi, Fabio Vernizzi) two italians tours and the first album.
