The Electric Mountain Rotten Apple Gang

HALF HORSE, HALF ALIGATOR, 100% TEXAS TORNADA!

About Me

THIS GRASS IS THRASH!!! THE ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN ROTTEN APPLE GANG was formed in April of 2005, when Adam Kobetich, with encouragement from big brother, Darrin Kobetich, decided it was time to take his love of Mountain String Music and Bluegrass into the arena! To those less aquainted with the genre, "the Gang" will sound just like they stepped off of some dynamite-blown mountaintop in West Virginia or Kentucky, but those who have a familiarity with the sound, will detect something else mixed into the band's sound; something a bit ....strange. This concept takes the natural course for a music that was developed out of old Irish, Scottish and English reels, African music and later influenced by countless other styles including jazz, blues, hawaiian, etc. "The Gang" joins the list of converted metalheads and punk rockers who wanted to take it back to the core. This band is best seen and heard acoustically, with feet stomping and bloody vocals roarin' into the ozone; knockdown dragout, just the way it was meant to be!......................................................... ............................................................ .............................CHECK OUT THE NEW BAND, SPAWNED BY THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH MEMBERS OF "THE GANG":
