The Boxcar Bandits

About Me

After the demise of Blaizin' Grass in late 2005, Texas Rex enlisted the help of some local drinkers with pickin' problems, and began performin' under the moniker of the Boxcar Bandits in February 2006 in the lovely town of Denton, TX. Equally at home at a beer joint or back porch, coffeshop or streetcorner, the Bandits unique brand of North Texas skunkgrass has been known to cause spontaneous squaredancin'! The Bandits first album, "Smells Like Grass" was released on Break-a-Pick Recordsin 2008. They continue to break strings and take names all throughout the land. Lookout, Ma!
