Well now, everyones sings or stomps or claps or beats on things first. Before I started Elementary school, my grandparents lived down the alley and they always welcomed a little boy in to play piano or organ. And there was singing in church. But I oficially started on clarinet, and piano. A guitar was cheaper than a synth so for $100 I got a really crappy one in my early teens. I was already playing other peoples guitars anyway. Did the garage band thing in and after high school. As usual things fell apart at the first signs of success. Partied my way outta college in Austin Texas. Left NEJ, god of tempest, and Bud to deal with the Colombians. Also ran out on John and then larval band Zeitgeist (the Reivers). Got a comunity college music degree, played in the bands Gateway, and Genre, wrote some music, married the wrong person, attempted and dropped outta music college in Arlington. Had a kid. Tried to "be all that you can be" when there was nothing else left to be. Had another kid. Traveled to the other side of the world and stood in North Korea for a few minutes. Discharged, divorced, and Degree'ed, thanks to Uncle Sam. Worked, bought new music gear. Played "dad" every weekend. Started jamming with friends, started going to open jams/ open mics in Big D. Joined some bands. Played some bars, coffee houses, Festivals. Got into handdrums and bluegrass. Became life long student of music. Expanded collection of musical intruments. Found Myspace.
