Flipside the band formed over three years ago when Van Widdifield
(vocals, lead guitar) and Joe Cash ( rhythm guitar) set out to put together a
band that played a variety of music that everyone could enjoy and dance to.
Finding a group of musicians that loved the music and were willing to make
a commitment to make it unique took some time, but with the addition of
Perry Newcomb ( vocals, lead guitar), Mary Beth Hylton (vocals) , ??? (drums), and Harry Lee Reynolds (bass) things fell into place.Flipside has played multiple venues in Virginia and North Carolina and has
impressed audiences from Dublin, VA to Burlington, NC.Flipside is composed of seasoned musicians with a collective total of over
60 years musical experience. Flipside prides itself on maintaining a unique
sound and repertoire that includes all genres of music from current billboard
hits to classic hits from Country, Southern Rock, Beach, Blues and R & B.
