We are ROULETTE out of Roxboro, NC. ROULETTE formed in the summer of 2003 with Curtis Chandler on lead vocals, James Huff on guitar, Andy Puett on drums, Dennis "Flame" Mangum on bass and Lisa Wrenn on lead and back up vocals. After arranging only 13 songs, we entered a Battle of the Bands contest and took 1st place. That's when we figured that we might have something here. Not long after, we incorporated Larry Humphries into the band on the bass guitar and our sound dramatically improved. We have payed our dues, and continue to do so.Even though Lisa was no longer in the band, she still made guest appearances and was recieved well everywhere she performed. Bruce Owen joined the band for a short stint, but alas, his heart wasn't in it anymore so it was back down to the four of us. As we matured as a band, we started acquiring bigger gigs than we were used to. The future was looking very bright!! Then on April 23rd of 2007, tragedy struck the band. We lost our guitar player, James Daniel Huff, Jr., to a motorcycle accident. We were devastated. That is when we realized we weren't just a band, but a family. A family that argued and bickered at each other and a family that loved one another.found this

We weren't sure whether to continue this musical journey or not, but after some time to consider everything, we thought this is what James would have wanted. So, the search was on. And it seemed like forever in the process. Looking back though, it didn't take long at all. First we found a skinny little guitar player hiding behind a tree, (J/K) Chris Sandridge came to us by way of a kickass band called FUBAR.He jumped right in and practically learned our whole set list in a matter of weeks. We were on the road again. Not long after, we were contacted by a helluva good guitar player and all around nice guy, Mark Stophel. His band was outta commission and he was looking for someone to play with. The night he walked into practice, it was like James had come back to life. So now we're a 5 piece band and we're loving it. Our sound is much more enhanced and we're able to do more songs than before. We would like to take this time to thank everyone of our fans, friends and family for your support in what we do. There are many places you could go for entertainment, and we appreciate you coming out to hear and party with us.We're looking forward to 2008 and beyond. Please, join us on the RIDE.
