I like people who have an appreciation for older music but keep it in context and perspective with what's going on around them and from that collective sensibility, create their own unique individual voice while keeping the DO IT YOURSELF spirit from the old days alive. I have worked in too many coffee houses and worn many different hats. I have lived in Cleveland and Baltimore. I left Baltimore in '04 and to spent some time in my home town reconnecting with my past and making new friends, I currently work for a non-profit organization. I am lucky enough to still find ways to be creative with friends and family and enjoy spending time with both. I still buy a lot of my clothes at the thrift store and I wish I had a Dodge Swinger in mint condition because that's what my grandmother drove when I was ten and I thought she was the coolest thing on legs at the time. I spend way too much time in music stores and you still might see my face at a show from time to time. In any case, if you aren't a complete dick its easy to get along with me.
This just makes me laugh...
You Are Pop Art
When it comes to art, you're definitely not a snob.
You can appreciate the mainstream aspects of culture, even if you need to twist them a bit to make them your own.
Whether you're into comics, retro pinups, or bold colors, you embrace what's eye catching and simple.
As far as most other art goes, you consider it a little too elitist and high brow for your tastes!
What Art Movement Are You?
I'm the guy holding the camera...
I like muscle cars...
