Singer/guitarist Omar Ka with roots in the Niger and German flutist Mark Alban Lotz form the core of the creative collective that includes French guitar player Raphael Vanoli and Iranian percussionist Afra Mussawisade.Omar Ka belongs to the West African nomadic tribe of the Fula. His lyrics speak of the life and culture of the nomadic tribe of the Fulani. Here you get Fulani vocals matched with jazzy virtuosity, electric soundscapes and world grooves.
