In addition to my work as a Tarot Scholar and Astrology Consultant, I am a PEACE and COMMUNITY ACTIVIST and I also work as a licensed healthcare professional, do Reiki, and Healing Touch.
I am also an End of Life or Death Doula. Witches believe that all of life exists within a Cyclical Circle, kind of like "HAKUNA MATATA," the expression from the film "The Lion King." BIRTH, LIFE, DEATH and REBIRTH is the progression that keeps spinning around! My work often takes me to the dying person's bedside and I believe that this is the work that the Goddess wants me to excel at. I work as a licensed CNA and have worked with many HOSPICE cases. End of Life Doula at BLOGSPOT!
In my spare time (what little bit I have), I appreciate the Arts, Music and Film. I spend a lot of my time writing, reading, camping (when I can), being outdoors, swimming, yoga, caring for my animals and nature. I love the news, current affairs and politics and intelligent comedy, news programs, NPR, Community Radio, and boxing on TV. I am a proud military veteran of Air Force Intelligence. I now do what I can to promote peace. War is not the answer. I listen to music of all kinds, sing and play percussion and a little guitar (would like to learn the Dulcimer), and hand drumming. My mate and I are currently residing in Zephyrhills, Florida, just north of Tampa, the home of our state's famous SPRING WATERS and very close to the headwaters of the Hillsborough River. We are also exploring the possibility of eventually living in an INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY, not sure where. We love to gourmet cook, swim, play with our fur and scale children and watch good movies when we are at home.
On the spiritual side, I am a CRONE, an Isian, Green, Womanspirit, Reclaiming Tradition Witch that honours the Great Mother Goddess Isis in all of Her manifestations (especially as HEALER and the Goddess of the Green Plants). I enjoy doing MAGICK (the witchy kind, hence the word is spelled with a "K"), communing with nature, being out in the woods or my garden, learning to grow food, herbs and ornamentals, especially succulents and cacti and I am learning about container gardening. I love the water and I am currently focusing on WATER MAGICK. It is funny that I would end up in Zephyrhills, the home of our state's spring waters that are bottled and sent all over the world! I am a SPEARIT FOREVER!

I have been a vocalist and backup singer for a folk/rock band and have played and experimented with the flute, the recorder, the xylophone, guitar, drums and percussion. Music is my first love, it would be impossible for me to list all the genres that I prefer, I like EVERYTHING from ALTERNATIVE to ZYDECO! I come from a musical family and grew up in a radio station that my father owned. He was a jazz musician and played the xylophone and my mother was a vocalist. My brother and nephew are drummers, my niece is currently exploring her love of music and buying an electronic violin soon. I LOVE intricate harmonies, opportunities to show off my vocal range and I LOVE Pagan/Witchy Chants. I enjoy listening to female vocalists and songwriters such as Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan, Patti Austin and so many more. I also love screaming rock guitar! I play drums and I LOVE DRUM CIRCLES! I would love to buy a DULCIMER and learn how to play it. Come back here often to check out the new songs I put on this page! I change them often, I am always obsessed with new music! I AM A RADIO JUNKIE AND CONTINUALLY FLIP THE STATION AND SING AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS WHILE DRIVING (not unlike Oprah's best friend)! This is extremely annoying to anyone that gets in a car with me behind the wheel. Singing loudly keeps me awake! I would also like to get DRUM CIRCLES started in the East Pasco County, Zephyrhills, Dade City, Wesley Chapel areas. We need a location to do this and enough interested people. Television:

Firstly, I want to say that most TV is simply SUBLIMINAL ADVERTISING!!! Like Michael Franti and Gil Scott Heron, I believe that TELEVISION is the DRUG OF THE NATION and is mostly propaganda as the programming and stations are owned and controlled by a handful of people that work in tandem with the corporations. I would much rather listen to music, read a book or read something edifying online during my down time. (Watch the videos below and you will get a good idea on this concept!) If you have cable or satellite, remember, others can "see" what you are watching! Analog signals will not exist in a few years, so soon TV's WITHOUT cable or satellite service will be obsolete as you will not be able to get a signal with the new TVs that are coming out and without being connected to a service of some sort. Time to learn Morse Code to be able to spread the news.
There are a few programs I will watch on occasion and only when I have the time and the inclination, most of them have to do with news, education and comedy and a few random drama programs. Some of these are: CSI, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Late Night Comedy, News Programs and PBS! Jon Stewart and the Daily Show, Letterman, Conan, Leno (depends on what guests are on), The Colbert Report, Will and Grace, Seinfeld, News Magazines such as 20/20, the View, Martha Stewart, Boxing, Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Rachel Ray, Oprah, ER, Cold Case, Law and Order, AMERICAN IDOL, Rock Star, Survivor Man and SURVIVOR. I LOVE the gardening, cooking and How-To programs on educational TV and let's not forget anything about music, history, cultural topics or travel!
