Artist: abridged version: I have always been artisticly inclined. I have vented the craft of creation via whatever means possible from doodling in margins and on placemats (which I still do if I go to a restaurant with paper ones), to doing a few signs, or drawings for people. Finding that I really didn't enjoy creating on demand with the client's motif in mind; I have made mostly my own heartfelt pieces since then. Over the years, I've wound wreaths from vines, played with clay, beaded (AARRGGHH!), spent more than a dozen years as a professional tattoo artist, utilized watercolor paints with black ink happily enough, found stipple absolutely irritating, and continued to doodle wherever I find a pen that moves real nice and a cool place to roll it. For years I would (and still do) draw or paint things as gifts for my friends and family. (hang on to them if you have them, they'll be worth big money someday!)Lately I've been using acrylics on canvas, painting furniture, making altar/garden pieces of cement and creating The Balls To Be Yourself(there are all of these and more in my photoalbums)I never know what I'm going to do next, really, but mostly stay way from realism and expectation. I like the freedom of no plan. I just go, and see what shows up, pretty much. Actually, perhaps I'll think more about planning simply to expand my work.I also incorprate art in my vocation.
