Jelly, Bass Player for Crashroom 9

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is Angelica, but I answer to many names including the following: Bob (a long story), Angela (when people feel threatened by the length of Angelica), Angel (only 90% mind you), and Jelly - my FAVORITE.
For the full details on this epic saga – check out my blog “my inner child’s story”
I am currently a Nursing student at Central Texas College in Killeen, and yes, I make that crazy drive from Round Rock to Killeen 4 days a week during the semester! Dedication or insanity – you be the judge.
I am also the bass player for the band Crashroom 9 (make sure to check out our myspace page at www.myspace.com/crashroom9). It all started with me playing the bass-line on the keyboards (mainly because I grew up playing the piano) and then the realization that I looked dorky playing a bass groove on a keyboard when I should be playing…wait for it…a BASS! Yes, the clouds parted on that blessed day that I picked up a 4-string and started learning how to thump. Now I play a 5-string, makes more sense when you have a crazy lead guitarist (and my lovable fiancé) who likes to pull out the 7-string and lay some heavier tunes.
I also have a small greeting card and cookie/cake company (not found in any stores, or really anywhere for that matter…except the house) called “Cookies and Cards by Jelly”. I have sold a few cards, cookies and cakes here and there and hope to establish my line once we open our future business – a COFFEE HOUSE! (more on that later)
I don’t show up much on Myspace, but I do like meeting new friends and will return your messages…but not in a timely fashion – so please be patient with me.
