About Me

Rising from the ashes of the hard rock band Empty, lead singer/guitarist Quitze Martinez and bassist/vocalist Bob Kennedy decided to forge a more dynamic, musically varied sound. With their new band, 86 THE SUN, the lyrics and melody come shining through. With Omar Vallejo as producer, each of the new songs sound tighter and more focused than ever. Alex Biko provides tasteful, powerhouse drumming. Newcomer Kelly Rath capably handles lead guitar and backing vocals live. 86 THE SUN's debut LP contains 11 songs and will be released in MARCH 2008!
