IF YOU LOVE YOUR LIFE, IT WILL LOVE YOU BACK

About Me

A Boston native, Jason became infected by the grooves of groups like Cameo and Kool and the Gang as a teenager. Jason has studied music at both the University of Lowell, MA and Berklee College of Music. He spent the 90’s “cutting his teeth” in the clubs of New England and beyond. Known for his dependable pocket and groove oriented style, Jason provided a solid foundation as a sideman for many bands in and around Boston.
Shortly after relocating to New York City in April 1999, Jason was featured in the scouting report of up and coming talent in Bass Player Magazine. After spending a year paying his dues in the New York City scene, he went on to spend all of 2000 on tour with the prestigious Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus. Jason was a proud member of the orchestra for the production Barnum’s Kaleidoscape. ************************************************************ *********************************** Throughout his career, Jason’s love for the blues has been predominantly reoccurring. In 2001, he returned home to NYC and secured a gig with Alligator recording artist Shemekia Copeland, touring from 2001-2004. He is also featured on her third CD “Talking To Strangers”. ************************************************************ ************************************* Jason is currently laying down Booty Shakin’ Grooves in NYC & BEYOND !!! ************************************************************ *****************************
