Having won Showtime at the Apollo three times, she went on to record and arrange background vocals for artists such as Bernie Choiniere, Gospel artist Natalie Wilson and SOP, and LeRoy Streat. Nichelle has landed lead vocal part in one of New England's high demand bands UNITY and has served as Guest Music Director for the world renowned STAX RECORDS MUSIC ACADEMY. She has performed with and for: Kirk Whalum, Bobby McFerrin, Natalie Cole, Sister Sledge, James Taylor, Patti LaBelle, Andre Crouch, Terry Gresham, The Kennedy Residence, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Billie D Williams, Antonio Jackson, and sang a duet with Neo-Soul prodigy Amel Larrieux, who praised Nichelle’s voice extensively.Nichelle served as the Vocal Musical Director for Tarralyn Ramsey (a national Gospel recording artist who won the Divas Live contest). Nichelle was featured on a short comedy tour with Talent, Cedric the Entertainer, and Bro-Man (from the hit show Martin.) She has done commercials for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, has sung the National Anthem at the opening of the Reebok World Headquarters, as well for the New England Patriots, The Boston Red Sox, and The New England Revolution. Nichelle's background includes fashion modeling and acting as well. She has starred in hit plays such as “Cinderellaâ€, “Sista Girlâ€, "Another Moment in Black History, and "Hallelujah in A Flat"
