About Me

..

PEACE AND BLESSINGS, and WELCOME TO ANTONIOJAZZ & AJMUSIC ON MYSPACE!

I HOPE YOU CAN FEEL THIS LATEST TRACK...

Music has been good to me, but God has been even better. The creativity God has given me has taken me and my saxophone to places like the Mountreux Jazz Festival in Swtizerland, Carnegie Hall in New York, and countless Jazz Festivals around the country. Like a lot of my fellow musicians, I have been blessed to perform and share the stage with some of the greats, like: The Count Basie Orchestra (Carnegie Hall) Ellis Marsalis, Wynton Marsalis, Mark Whitfield, Chaka Khan (Mountreux Jazz Festival), Najee, Regina Belle, The Average White Band, Ernie Watts, Red Rodney, The Roots, RUN DMC and The Pharcyde. I love the process of music, the process of creating, building, performing and sharing music. I love my fellow musicians and artists. Like life, being a musician is about contributing to people's lives and the world around us, and not about oneself. If that were the case, then we should all stay home and never come out our studios.

Let the music inspire you to live and enjoy your life. Let it inspire you to follow your dream. Let it inspire you to be the best at being you! May the music you hear on this page be as fulfilling to you as it is to me.

Here's a little clip from one of my performances at the Beantown Jazz Festival...
