This Beat Can Win Me A Grammy! - Tomahawk Pop 1

About Me

Harold Davis Jr. (otherwise known as FRO) is a guitarist and composer, who draws from a pool of influences that include jazz, metal, funk, electronica, blues, latin and more. FRO and a revloving cast of FROhorts hit the scene in 1995. FRO has opened and/or appeared with diverse national acts including Tower Of Power, Screaming Headless Torsos, Toots and the Maytals, Deep Banana Blackout, the Alex Skolnick Trio and Garaj Mahal featuring Fareed Haque & Kai Eckhart. FRO has released two self-produced CDs. His first CD was an EP, called "On Your Mark, Get Set, FRO!" that was release in November 2001. In late December 2002 early-January 2003, FRO released a full-length CD, called "The Paisley Album." Each CD has received favorable reviews. FRO performs in both trio and quartet settings. He is currently recording a third CD to be released sometime in 2007. FRO is available as a freelance guitarist for gigs, tours & recording and is also available for guitar lessons. Contact him directly here. Also as of late, FRO has a bit of a musical identity crisis. He plays guitar with a few bands too many in New York. Some of his recent activities have included guitar duties with Shaka Zulu Overdrive(Now Red Lights To Rio), Etro Anime, Cheryl Englehardt, Bazaar Royale, Mental Notes, Gemini and more. FRO also did a 5-week tour this past summer (June 17 thru July 22 '07), performing with Bazaar Royale opening for rapper DMX!
