Where Love and the Unexpected Meet ....<
I am a romance writer. I write
stories that I hope will
transport my readers to a different time
or another land.
I love history and my first story reflects that love as
it is set in the depression, within the backdrop of
1935 Saskatchewan. ">
December 1, 2007 by Black Lyon Publishing.
It was officially launched December 14, 2007.
My first book signing was a huge success by my standards
and the bookstores. I enjoyed every minute of it.
There were family and friends and the kindness
of strangers. It was all fab and I still have
a dozen roses to remind me that
it wasn't all a dream. "From the Dust" is available
on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and many other online bookstores.
The reviews so far are great. Life is good!
I'm back from that trip I was telling
you all about. It was
totally incredible. I've been asked
a couple of times what the highlight was
and I can't pick one. Four
countries in a month; China,
Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand. All
incredible, unique and totally different
from each other. I spent New Year's
day on the Great Wall of China,
watched a sunset over the Plains of Bagan,
Myanmar, scuba dived in Koh Pha Ngan, Thailand.
How do you choose? Check out
my blog www.ryshia.blogspot.com if you
want more. I know I do.
I'd love to get on the first plane back.
So until the next trip there's pictures
and being a writer - stories.
Bagan, Myanmar
So I took a personality test, here's what it said about me:

I'd like to meet:

People from all over the world.
Sometimes you can travel without
ever leaving home. I like to meet
people who challenge me with new ideas, who
are open-minded or creative. And
if you love to read
romance or you're a
writer yourself - bonus. And if
you're not - don't worry I'd still love
to meet you.

Safe travels

Romance Fights Back

Literature is a form of escapism. I get tired of hearing that romance is simplistic or written on a formula. Romance is literature. Fiction, literature. And there is no formula - people! True - ther...
