Destiny's Captive
Back Cover Blurb:
Angeline Montgomery’s father is mysteriously murdered, forcing her to flee her home in New York and seek the shelter of her estranged family in England. When her ship is attacked by pirates, her dangerous curiosity reveals their captain is a high-ranking English noble. Astounded by the truth, she is taken captive by the suspicious, dark-eyed lord.
Lucian DeLattimer’s job is to pillage foreign cargo vessels beneath the cloak of the dreaded Jolly Roger. Discovering a beautiful spy aboard his latest conquest is not nearly as unsettling as his unwanted desire for the infuriating female who takes over his bed and his thoughts.
When temptation ignites passion, they discover something neither dreamed possible. But will they survive the deadly truth of her father’s scandalous past, or will it mean their imminent destruction?

This is my shrine to Greg Vaughan. You can be fairly certain that there will be several books inspired by these pictures!

Where I'd like to visit:
I am dying to tour the UK. I would love to visit all of the places that I have read about, and fallen in love with, since I was around ten. Especially England and Scotland...
And as for a more tropical climate, I've always wanted to visit Hawaii and Jamaica. Both have spectacular landscapes.

I like many different kinds of music, from rock (Nickelback current fav) to classical. I love listening to piano music and movie soundtracks while I write, they tend to keep my creative juices flowing.
Recent picks: Over Her Dead Body & 27 Dresses -- both witty and romantic...great lighthearted love stories.
I absolutely, positively loved Pride and Prejudice -- it's my favorite. The Holiday, starring Kate Winslet (who I adore) and Cameron Diaz is also one of my top favs. Love Actually also rates up there on my list. Like Bridget Jones, it has both Colin Firth and Hugh Grant in it...how could you possibly go wrong with those two in the cast?
You can't make one of these lists without including Dirty Dancing, unless you've been in a bubble for 20 years! I was also enthralled by The Count of Monte Cristo. And of course, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies...but aren't those pretty much a given?! Johnny Depp is an absolute dream...

I just love the new Christina Applegate sitcom, Samantha Who. It is sooo cute & witty. If I miss it on television, it's straight to the computer to download!! I most highly recommend it for a lighthearted, romantic comedy series.
I will admit that I am a General Hospital-aholic -- the mobster angle is sexy and entertaining. Other than that, I am more of a movie person.
Too many to even try and mention...I'd be here all day!! :)

All my life I've been in love with horses, but for the past several years I have been crazy about Friesians in particular. Someday I WILL have one of my own.
