I am currently in the middle of a three part series, which I call The Destiny Series, about the DeLattimer family...Regency period aristocrats with a surplus of good looks, charisma, and pedigree. There are two brothers (Lucian, who is the eldest and the heir to his father's lands and title, and Robert, who inherited his mother's ancestral property and Scottish wild streak) and one feisty little sister (Winnie, mischievous and beautiful, a true romantic at heart with many literary influences which have given her a very specific idea of what she wants in a husband).
They are three very different siblings who set off on their respective journeys with one common goal--to find their very own happy endings.
On an unrelated note: People sometimes ask me, why historical romance? Why not suspense thrillers or contemporary drama? My answer is this -- It's about trying to capture that feeling...that fluttery surge of undeniable emotion that you got in the pit of your stomach the very first time you fell in love. That sensation that makes you feel young and uninhibited, reckless and just...well...inexplicably happy. To be able to capture that essence, and to reproduce the feeling for yourself and for others over and over again, there can be no equal to that accomplishment. Nothing in the world compares to the euphoria of being in love. That is why I chose romance...or rather why it chose me.
